为加强同马耳他旅游学院的国际交流合作，提升教师跨文化课堂教学能力，国际教育学院近日牵头组织国际旅游学院、旅游管理学院骨干教师，线上参加马耳他旅游学院举办的“多元文化课堂教学”专题培训研讨会。
To strengthen international exchanges and cooperation with the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) Malta and improve teachers' cross-cultural classroom teaching capacity, the School of International Education of Zhengzhou Tourism College recently led administrative staff and key teachers from the School of International Tourism and the School of Tourism Management to attend an online training seminar titled "Teaching in Multicultural Classrooms," hosted by ITS Malta.
本次研讨会是马耳他旅游学院持续专业发展项目的一部分，围绕“将课堂多样性转化为学习机会”“多元文化回应性课堂”“实践策略”等议题展开，旨在帮助教师将课堂多样性转化为学习机会，提升包容性教学能力。第一部分结合马耳他旅游学院在中国合作教学点的授课实际，分享贴合中国教育文化特点的教学经验，包括如何调整授课方式、调动中国学生课堂积极性，以及设计课堂活动时顾及学生感受，避免学生感到局促尴尬。第二部分结合马耳他本校多国学生同堂的课堂现状，探讨不同文化观念和成长经历如何影响学生课堂表现，比较师生在自主学习、独立思考、课程考核和课堂沟通等方面的认知差异，并讨论如何营造包容的课堂氛围，促进本国学生与国际学生更好地交流学习。
The seminar, part of ITS Malta's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, covered topics such as "Transforming Classroom Diversity into Learning Opportunities," "Multicultural Responsive Classroom" and "Practical Strategies" aiming to help teachers turn classroom diversity into learning opportunities and improve inclusive teaching.The first part focused on real-world teaching at ITS Malta's cooperative teaching sites in China and shared practical experience suited to China's educational and cultural features. It covered how to adjust teaching styles, motivate Chinese students in class, and design classroom activities with consideration for students' feelings to avoid discomfort or embarrassment.The second part drew on the multi-national classroom environment at the Malta campus. It explored how different cultural values and life experiences shape students' classroom performance, compared teacher and student expectations regarding independent learning, critical thinking, assessment and classroom communication, and discussed ways to build an inclusive classroom atmosphere for better interaction and joint learning between local and international students.
参会人员包括相关学院教学行政负责人、业务骨干等。参训教师认真学习借鉴培训内容，后续将把所学运用于国际化课程教学，不断提高中外合作办学教学质量，培养更多具备国际视野的旅游专业技能人才。
Participants from Zhengzhou Tourism College included teaching and administrative heads of relevant schools, key staff, and other personnel.The teachers studied and reflected on the training content and will apply what they have learned to international-oriented courses, continuously improving the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education and cultivating more tourism professionals with an international perspective.
